THAIN (Peterhead)

Suddenly, but peacefully at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Tuesday 28th April 2026, John Thain (Jake) aged 67 years. A Much-loved and loving son of Lena and the late John, a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle and a good shipmate to many. Very sadly missed. Service of Thanksgiving for Jake’s life to be held in The Almanythie Hall on Friday 8th May at 1.30 p.m. to which all friends are respectfully invited and thereafter to Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the hall door for the Stroke Unit, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
