STRACHAN (Peterhead)

Very suddenly at his home, on Monday 1st December 2025, George Strachan, Retired Skipper MFV PD 27 Illustrious, MFV PD 366 Try Again, also Retired Care Manager. Dearly loved and cherished husband of Margaret Winter Anderson, a much loved and adored dad of Peter, Margaret-Elizabeth and the late George Anderson Strachan, respected father-in-law, such a proud and devoted granda to his 13 grandchildren and so equally proud and devoted great-granda to his 4 great-grandchildren, with such joy that P.M.’s son Anderson has brought into George’s life. Very sadly and sorely missed. Service in The Almanythie Hall, Grange Road, Peterhead on Friday 12th December at 12.30 p.m. to which all friends are respectfully invited and thereafter to Balmoor Cemetery. No callers and no flowers please, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the Hall door for chosen charities.
