SPALDING (Peterhead)

Peacefully after a short illness at Roxburghe House, Aberdeen, with his family by his side, on Saturday 3rd October 2026, Alexander Marshall Spalding (Alex) aged 71 years, retired Prison Officer HMP Peterhead. Dearly loved husband of Margaret (Meg), a much-loved and loving dad to Michelle and Steven, a dear father-in-law of Mark and Nicola, a proud and loving grandad to Leia, Joshua, Emily and Lucas, a very dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Very sadly missed. Celebration for Alex’s life to be held in The Almanythie Hall, Grange Road, Peterhead on Monday 19th October at 12 noon to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Cremation thereafter private. Family flowers only, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the Hall door for Friends of Roxburghe House, Grampian.
