McRae (Strichen/Mintlaw/Peterhead)

Suddenly but peacefully, with family by his side, at Peterhead Community Hospital on Sunday 5th October 2025, David Ferguson McRae (former Farm Worker), in his 92nd year. Dearly loved and cherished husband of the late Irene Anderson Smart, a much loved and loving dad of Sheena, Shirley, Colin and Ian, a dear father-in-law and such a proud and devoted granda and great-granda. Very sadly and sorely missed. Service of thanksgiving for David’s long life to be held in The Almanythie Hall, Grange Road, Peterhead on Wednesday 15th October at 1.30p.m. to which all friends are respectfully invited. Interment thereafter private by his own request. Family flowers only, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the hall door for chosen charities.
