Mackenzie (Mintlaw)

Peacefully in the Summers Ward, Peterhead Community Hospital on October 25th, 2025, with her two daughters and son-in-laws by her side, Dorothy Lownie Mackenzie (nee Mackie), aged 80 years. Dearly loved and loving wife of the late Callum, beloved mum to Donna, Colin & Tracey, much respected mother-in-law to Andy & Alex and future mother-in-law to Jennifer, a proud and devoted granny to Kayleigh, James, Matthew, Cameron and the late Michael, and great granny to Kaiya, a dear sister, auntie and friend to all who knew her. A celebration for Dorothy’s life will be held in Longside Parish Church on Tuesday 11th November at 12.15p.m. to which all friends are respectfully invited and thereafter to Aberdeen Crematorium, Hazlehead (East Chapel) for service of committal at 2.30p.m. Family flowers only, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the church door for Friends of Anchor. No callers please.
