Peacefully passed away in the arms of her granddaughter Alex, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Wednesday 27th August 2025, Frances Mowatt aged 80 years, Retired Manager Peterhead Post Office. Dearly loved and cherished wife of the late Edmond (Eddie) Gilmartin, Fisherman. A much loved, loving and devoted mum of Janette and Debbie, a very dear mother-in-law of Michael and Alan, a special and treasured Nana to Alex, Leon, Ellis, Euan and Brenna, a very loving sister to Betty, much loved auntie and friend to so many. Always loved. Never forgotten. Forever missed. Celebration of Life Service for Frances is to be held in The Almanythie Hall, Grange Road, Peterhead on Friday 5th September at 1.30 p.m. to which all friends are respectfully invited and thereafter to Grange Cemetery. No callers please. Family flowers only, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the Hall door for chosen charities. Bright and cheerful attire encouraged.
