FORBES (Peterhead)

Peacefully, after a long illness, at his home, surrounded by his wife and family on Thursday 19th March 2026, Alexander Reid Forbes (Sandy), retired Taxi Driver, aged 74 years. Much loved and loving husband of Barbara, a very special dad known as No.1 to Alison, Christopher, Barbara-Ann, Wilma-Jane and Amanda, a respected father-in-law, a proud and devoted granda and lovingly known to his great-grandchildren as Gaga. Very sadly and sorely missed. Service of Thanksgiving for Sandy’s life to be held in The Almanythie Hall, Grange Road, Peterhead on Monday 6th April at 11.00a.m. to which all friends are respectfully invited. Funeral thereafter private. No callers and no flowers please, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the hall door for chosen charities.
