BOWIE (Peterhead/Mintlaw)

Very peacefully, with family by her bedside, at Grangepark, Peterhead, on Friday 3rd April 2026, Elizabeth Jessie Moir, in her 89th year. Dearly loved and cherished wife of the late Alick James Bowie, Retired Police Inspector, a much loved and adored mum to her late daughters Jacqueline and Diane, a very dear sister to Winnie, Anne and the late Jackie and Angela, respected sister-in-law, a special aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt, lovingly known to them as Auntie Biss, and a dear friend to many. Very sadly and sorely missed. Service of Thanksgiving for Elizabeth’s life to be held in The Almanythie Hall, Grange Road, Peterhead on Monday 13th April at 10.30 a.m. to which all friends are respectfully invited and thereafter to Balmoor Cemetery. No callers please. Family flowers only, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the Hall door for Grangepark Residents Comfort Fund.
