Irene and the family of the late Maxwell Smith wish to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy extended to them personally, by cards, messages and floral tributes. Special thanks to Robert Mackie Funeral Directors, in particular Stuart, for his professionalism and empathy throughout, Rev. Alastair Bruce for his comforting service and the New Inn for refreshments. Grateful thanks also to Karen (Macmillan), community nurses and carers from ARCH for their kindness and compassion shown to Maxwell.  Finally to all who paid their last respects at the church and graveside, thank you.
