David and family wish to return their sincere appreciation to all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind acts extended to them and for the love and prayerful support both during Frances’ short illness and during her recent “Home call”. The cards, letters, telephone calls, personal callers to their home and the very comforting comments on social media have been greatly appreciated by the family. Thanks to all who so generously gave towards chosen charities in lieu of flowers; to the family G.P., Dr Graham Strachan and to Dr Bruce Strachan for their most appreciated practical and professional help and support; to the nurses who attended to Frances in her home; to Mr Alex John Strachan for such words of reassurance, comfort and eternal hope both in the hall and at the graveside. To Mr Adam Horton for his beautiful selection of hymns which were so comforting and to the many who joined with David and the family to pay their last respects. Finally, thanks to all at Robert Mackie Funeral Directors especially Robert and Stuart for their guidance and professionalism.
