DOWNIE (Peterhead)

The family of the late Ella Imlach Downie wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind and thoughtful expressions of sympathy extended to them following the recent ‘Home Call’ of Ella. Grateful thanks must be extended to all carers at Summerhill Eventide Home for their exceptional care over the years; to David McCaig for his pastoral support and uplifting service and to all who helped at the Church; to The Waterside Hotel for the welcome refreshments; to everyone who donated in lieu of flowers to Summerhill Eventide Home, to Robert Mackie and his team for the compassionate way they carried out all Ella’s wishes and finally, thank you to those who paid their last respects both in the Church and Balmoor Cemetery.
