Ann, Mark, Michael and families wish to return their sincere appreciation to all of Ian’s relatives, friends, neighbours, and colleagues for the many comforting expressions of sympathy extended to them by way of cards, letters, telephone calls, personal callers to the house, flowers received and for the beautiful comments on social media. Thanking all who gave so generously in lieu of flowers at the hall door for Friends of Roxburghe House. Special thanks must be extended for the very professional care, love and kindness extended to Ian at Roxburghe House and for the immense support to Ann and family, the doctors and staff at Roxburghe House are truly caring angels. Thanking Mr Robert Mackie for his most personal and comforting services, it was most appreciated by the family, at both in The Almanythie Hall and at the graveside and finally to all who paid their last respects to Ian.
