BUCHAN (Peterhead)

We, David’s family, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone for the love, kindness, and support shown to us in so many ways following the loss of our beloved husband, dad, father-in-law, and much-loved granda.  Every card, message, visit, and thoughtful gesture has been deeply appreciated and has meant more to us than words can say.

We are especially grateful to the paramedics whose care and compassion brought great comfort at a very difficult time, and to the Nurses at Peterhead Health Centre, Ian Proud, and all the staff at Clerkhill Pharmacy for the kindness and support they consistently showed David.  We also wish to acknowledge the thoughtful care he received from the staff at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary during his appointments.

Our sincere thanks to Robert Mackie for leading a truly uplifting service that so beautifully celebrated David’s life and the man he was to us all.  We are also very thankful to everyone who came to pay their last respects at the Almanythie Hall and Grange Cemetery, and to those who donated so generously to Friends of Anchor.

We would further like to thank Peterhead Football Club for the lovely teas and the warmth and consideration shown to the family.

Finally, our heartfelt gratitude goes to Craig and all the staff at Robert Mackie Funeral Directors, Peterhead, for their care, guidance, and compassion throughout; it meant more to us than we can ever fully express.
